It is 62" long following the curves Don
I did pull it to 29" a couple times so it is secure at 28"
Thanks Marc. It looks like I can go a couple of inches shorter.

I use Sugar Maple from trees I cut myself and I am very picky which tree I cut.  This particular tree had a bit figuring to the wood.

Thank you all

This bow does seem to be a bit more sensitive to arrow spine than usual but not overly so, could be my left hand shooting makes it so.  I made one like it for a guy in BC last year to hunt Moose.  He emailed me a couple months ago and told me his needed heavily spined arrows, he also told me it was the fastest bow he has ever owned.  His pulled 60# @ 27"

Dear Marc
May you allow 2 1/2 further questions about this fantastic bow:
The Buckthorn part is spliced together deflexed?
The backing is one single piece edge grained?
Thanx for unveiling secrets!
Cheers to Corbeil

The Buckthorn is spliced at the handle and the Maple backing is also spliced at the handle and yes it is edge grain
