Osage Recurve 63#@28"
« on: March 26, 2019, 10:31:38 am »
Hey, folks. It's been a while since I shared a bow. Here is a nice simple osage recurve that I just finished. Pretty stout at 63#@28". It's 62" long from nock to nock. I stained it with a steel wool/vinegar concoction. The tips are buffalo horn and the handle wrap is elk leather with kangaroo lace.

Very nice! As others have noted, the tips are superb! It looks like a 90 degree curve!

Nice, simple, clean bow Mr. Olive.

Wow!
Like the used look from the stain!
I had a nock like yours, my brother who shoots it, just broke of the top of the horn by bracing the bow. That doesn't mean something to your bow just saying be careful!
