That's what we ended up with for our 2018 rainfall total. Our average for the last 20 years is about 70" with one other year over 100" back when the remnants of 3 hurricanes came through one September a few years ago. 139.15" is over 11' of rain. Good thing we live in a mountainous area.

Pat, that's about how much snow we receive in a normal winter. Way behind this yr only had 25 " of snow but we are over on our avg rain. Bob

I think the whole eastern half of the country especially along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts have had record rain this year.

Ya we had the most we ever had since the flood in 2010 we were still 10 inches below that year. Been wet for sure and my new pond although not
full yet is way better that what it would have been on a normal year. so something good has come out of it at least for me. We have more rain coming this evening and tomorrow so 2019 is starting out like 2018, may become the norm

That's a heck of a lot of water Pat.You are lucky to live on high ground.We're above normal a little here in Iowa now too but not to the degree where your at.We had a stretch of 3 weeks where we got 18" last summer.That really filled the ponds back to normal here.
With our colder climate here and basements the norm many had water in their basements.

We had a 6" rain last week ,oh that came down in 3 hours . total for the day was 8". but I live 15' above sea level on the coast of Florida so it can be chalked up as a another storm. No reason to start building an ark quite yet. Hope ya'll have a great year

We're in that 10 year category, if not more!  Severe drought in SW Colorado and abnormally dry here in the northern Front Range, even with above average snowfall so far!  Plus 11 feet of rain and we'd be washed down to Omaha!
