Elm staves?

Hey All,
I have only made a few hickory board bows. I unfortunately
had to cut down an elm in the backyard (I know a little late in the season to do so), but when I split it into staves it had some pretty good twist to them. Are these able to be made into bows or do I just have myself some more firewood?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looks good to me too. I've only built a few elm bows but was impressed from the first one. Keep us posted with your progress.
