Mojam Bow
« on: July 29, 2018, 03:54:58 am »
Just wanted to share sone pictures of the bow i made for the mojam auction. Its 60in. It pulls 40@28. Osage with corn snake. The tips are water buffalo and ramhorn.
I think its 1 1/8 wide at the fades. I made the small rest out if glued up leather. I wish i had soneone shoot it at the flight shoot. I took these pictures at mojam and forgot to get a full draw, so if anyone knows how to get in touch with Le, maybe we can get a full draw. Thanks to the Marshall bowhunters for such a great event!

Sorry thats all i got. I didnt even get a strung picture!

Dave I've never even made it to MoJam yet,but I can tell how much enthusiasm you and everyone else have for it. Really gotta thank you for all the pictures and effort you put into this event and promise someday I'll be there. Until then thanks for taking all us along.

That is a beautiful bow and love how you left the MoJam stickers on till the Osage changed colors.

PS love the picture of you and Clint. Clint is starting to look more like you than you. I kinda think it's a improvement for him.

That was one sweet looking bow Dave.  I wanted it bad but Le wanted it a little bit more.  I'm glad it brought some good money for the club.  Next year can you make one a few lbs heavier at a shorter draw length  ;)

Mojam grows on you BJ.  By the time I left I was wearing tie dye and had a red beard  ;D

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I like the heavier weight shorter draw length suggestion Clint. We can bid against each other again.

I noticed Dave was rubbing off on you Clint. I wonder what I'll look like when I leave there. ::)

I would love to make it to Mojam one of these years myself. It's just a far drive from SE Pa. That is one beautiful looking bow. Really like the handle....looks like it makes for a very comfortable grip. Great job.

Nice bow!  Like Paul said the bidding got past my pocketbook quickly, as well!

He says "Next year can you make one a few lbs heavier at a shorter draw length'

Or make it a few pounds lighter at a shorter draw length.    :-)

That's beautiful bow, putting the letters on and removing them after it starts to turn. That's thinking outside the box. Kudos again.

Congrats to the winner.

I got to put my hands on that one in person. Pictures doesn't bring out the detail of the work.  Great job my friend.
