Hickory back Maple board bow
« on: July 23, 2018, 04:50:08 pm »
been playing with boards a little bit. This is a hickory backed maple. zebrawood and walnut built up handle and tips. 62 in NTN. 40 maybe 41 lb at 26 in.  came in about 5 lbs lighter than I wanted to. has pretty good cast and is very forgiving to shoot. lost about 2 inches of glued in reflex. Held together with smooth on. Thanks for looking

woooohoooo! Paul goes to the dark side.
That is purdy.
And your bends, as usual . . . luscious.

May the Force be with you Paul. Nice boardbow. Is that your first? I've haven't done a board bow yet either, or a laminated bow.
