Finely watched it last night, yep my money is on Timber, if he doesn't do something stupid he is pretty well set except the smoke in his home and feel sure he will figure that out.  :) probably be another 1 or 2 go out this week from the looks of the promo.  :-\

After getting to know Timber even better I really like the guy. I am really impressed by his attitude.

He still has some competition and not counting anyone else out yet, but I really like the guy and the way he’s handling the adventure

PS I love the little foxes he made for his boys.

It appears Timber has a frostbite problem; it could be a deal breaker. The grouse snare guy seems to be doing OK; he is good at procuring food if he can keep it away from the martins, his attitude is very good.

I agree about the grouse snaring guy Eric. I think he’s the only one of the three that hasn’t talked about missing his family. Not having daylight is gonna play big on the three that are left. Also going to get really cold before long. All pretty tough guys. Going to be fun to watch what happens.

I think Timer's worsening frostbite problem will take him out, the guy who is fed up with the whole thing will drop off as well, that leaves the bird snare guy who had food and a great attitude but not a good shelter to handle the total darkness and the really bad weather that is on the way.

Yes.
Very good ending.
Tough guys
I loved all. The mental and physical strength needed, the skills and the nature (not necessarily in this order).
Great show. The only one that feels true

I think once it got down to the three it was mostly the mental part. I had a feeling that the winner was gonna be who it ended up being. I’ve spent some time in the woods alone and after a few days you really do start to miss people. At least I do. Them are some tuff ol boys for sure, and skilled, I mean who ever heard of taking a pole with a wire snare on the end and snatching a grouse out of a tree. Crazy stuff..

Ya I think the mental part is tough, all the time in the world to think and the mind can do funny things to you if you let it. I was rooting for Timber but William deserved the win for sure.  :) Looking forward to the next one.  ;) :)

Yes I think the mental part becomes increasingly difficult.

At first they have enough daylight and work to keep them busy.

When they have proven to themselves they are able to do everything they wanted to it becomes more difficult to find the will to stay.

When the daylight is all but gone and you have nothing but time to pass, I’m sure that button is always talking to you

I thought it was a good series and any of the last three were dang tough guys.

For some reason my cable outfit didn't record the last show, it is not on the on demand History channel either. Perhaps it will be added later, but as of now I am in the dark about how the last show went except for knowing who won.
