Glass Buttes??? Hurry

Guys I need info on Glass Buttes asap.  I will be there in a week. I found out today that I will be driving company truck from Washington to Tx :o I need to know things like .  Where in the area can I go to find quick Obsidian maybe football size chunks.  How far into the park do I need to go before  I find some to pick up? What should I type into maps  to find it exactly? Thanks guys anything will help

I've found this map to be accurate for the 3 areas I've gone digging. I expect the rest is accurate as well

Dacite pits south of Riley are a great choice for large superb rock. As for glass buttes type in glass buttes map on google images. Look over those and you’ll do well. It’s a good few miles from the hardball till the serious picking. Stay left at the pond by the camp. The big butte is a waste, little butte is all obsidian. At the camp(flat by the roadside by the pond) the hillside has gold sheen. I’ll get a few pictures for ya. Posting it here rather than pm so others know. Bring a pry bar as those are the best tool there.

This is my favorite map. I’ve used it on multiple trips and it’s spot on.

Make sure to turn at mile post 77. Nicest road. Also fuel up as the gas station is a long long ways away.
