High humidity bow wood

It seems all my bows are a bit more sluggish that usual. I was wondering if some different wood other that osage responded better to high humidity? I have another ERC stave here without enough sapwood on it to use without backing it. Would cedar be a snappier bow it humid climates?

Where do you store your bows?  How are they sealed?

There in my garage. Sealed with urethane spray.

Are you monitoring the humidity in your garage? 
I live in south Louisiana and the humidity averages 50% in my garage, but sometimes will get much higher for a day or two.  On those days I just bring the bows I'm currently working inside.  Then I check the moisture content and put them in a hot box if necessary before working. 
Long story short, you can manage the humidity. 
Tropical woods are more resistant to humidity changes.

Unless your garage is heated and cooled I would move them into your house and see if that helps after a while.
