You have a problem. Your fades appear to extend well beyond the handle on the front profile, yet the side shows them very short. That means you have an inch or more that is the same thickness as the limb, but much more narrow.

I have done this when I had a very thin stave to work with. I put down two 1/8" strips first then the rest of the handle. I used the old Urac for glue which was bombproof. The handle on this bow never lifted because I feathered the fades out so gradually.
