Yarn Decoration for Native American Bows Question
« on: April 17, 2018, 11:44:00 am »
Hey Ya'll,

I have a question. I'm making a close-ish copy of a Native American bow that had yarn wrapped around the handle and limbs. Does anybody know if this was glued in place or not? If glued, how was it done? What comes to my mind is laying down a layer of glue and wrapping over it, or maybe soaking the yarn in hide glue and then wrapping it on the bow. I'm in the dark. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance.
