Gordon, cant wait to see what you do with that piece I sent you. Its out of the same tree as this stave was.
Canoe, I can take a picture of the form I used for the tips, its just a form a free hand cut out of a 2x6. I used a heat gun to bend it to the form. This stave had natural reflex threw out to begin with, I just heat treated the belly over the kitchen stove with the bow braced backwards after tillering to brace, so it would retain as much reflex as possible.

The grip on this bow is pretty unique for me, its a realy thick peice of moose leather I glued on like a regular wrap, then I used a razor blade to shape it and carve it down. Then I put a regular deer skin handle wrap over top of it. The bows handle was only like 3/4" or 7/8" wide before I added the leather grip.

Ryan I'd be curious to know what the difference in string lenght, between nock point and upper loop versus nock point and lower loop.  That bow looks like the arrow pass is closer to center than a lot of bows I see posted.

David, Its 28" from the arrow pass to the top limb nock groove and 30" to the bottom one. So I guess its about a inch above center, its just where it felt right to me on this one. I also see the bow is actualy 58" ntn 60" tip to tip, whoops I wrote that wrong earlier. I'll have to go back and correct that.
