We'll be having fun flinging arrows, throwing hawks and knives, shooting, eating, and drinking at our local Sagebrush Freetrapper rendezvous this weekend.  We are located at Rattlesnake primitive range near Benton City,WA.   We've got a nice little archery course set up with a dozen 3D foam animals set up for guys with primitive bows.

Sounds like alot of fun Allen. Did you get some pics from your shoot? It was a fairly wintery weekend here. I bet it was a little nippy up there as well.  Keenan

We definitely had some weather at the Rendezvous - sleet, snow flurries, and lots of cold wind.   At times we were shooting when the sun was out and snowing at the same time.   Wasn't enough snow to stick, but it sure made things chilly.  Still had lots of fun.  It was really interesting shooting in that cold wind.   At the rende, I finally made my first 6 inch lance point without breaking it!!!  It wasn't perfect, but was still pretty excited about it.  I made it out of one of the lizard skin spalls.   Actually, I was afraid if I went any further it would break like all the others.  Traded it and another point for a custom knife.   Here is a photo.

I'll try and get a photo of the trade.   I forgot to mention, they gave me a camp name at the Rende.  I guess I'll be known from now on as  " Happy Knapper" .
