Ok guy's, just a couple more days!
I plan on bringing my tiller setup and a stave horse and my caul and heat gun and some clamps. Probably some rock too!   What is everyone else bringing? Or do I need to bring anything else?

Well, the wife said she'd bake us a pie and I was going to bring some of the local "beverage"... ;D
My portable shave horse, some clamps, the usual tools and a couple staves along with that slat and the bamboo if we get the chance to do some glue up stuff.

That sounds great Paul!
The glue up sounds good to me. I was scoping out some bamboo I have as well.

Eric,  will you bring your laminate caul.  Or we could throw one together.  I have a ton of inner tubes.  Does anyone have any glue?

Ya'll may wanna throw pair of galoshes in the vehicle. Range is likely gonna have some muddy areas.

I am bringing a work bench (my shavehorse), knapping stuff, and if the water is not been too high, I am going to stop at a few spots along the way and pick up more rock.   Let me know if there is anything else I can bring.

Sounds like you guys are gonna have a good time. I hope you all take pictures. I'm still watching and thinking about next year.

Thought you might like to see the pinebox derby car my grandson and I made. He did most of the filing I put pencil marks for him to remove. I touched it up just a little. He painted the red then I taped it off and he painted the blue. Then I added some windows and pin stripes with a nano marker. I hope the scales are right cause it's exactly 5oz. on both of my scales.

Here's some pictures.

You guys have a good safe outing

Looks a bit like one of your arrows, BJ. Hopefully it'll scoot down track as fast as arrows zip outta your bows!
My grandson finished 2nd this year. His scaled out at exactly 5.0 also. If he had not insisted on putting a lil windshield on that car he woulda won. Oh well, there's next year.

Have it on good authority that 1st couple of "attendees" will meander in 'bout noon TOMORROW.
