Went for the first time. Took my bucket of obsidian and Mr. Perry Smith picked out a flake and helped me chip out my first point. He also helped my 9yr old son to chip out his first one. I now have a couple I chipped out and my boy is really into it. If I get a nicely shaped flake from my work, I give it to him and he makes a small point out of it. We really enjoyed ourselves. I still can't spall worth anything but at least sometimes I can pressure flake a point. So, we are having fun.
