Atlatl Pig Hunting Video!!

Well, it's the preview for the video anyways  I got the whole thing on video and will release the full version of the video August 1st!  (takes time to edit out a whole video). Got it done with an all cane atlatl dart setup, replaceable foreshafts, and of course stone points.  If you're a subscriber to the magazine, you will certainly read all about it in the future as well.

Good hunt!  Plenty of ham, chops and sausage!  Off to the practice range!  What technique do you use to straighten your darts and keep them straight.  We don't have a humidity problem here, but I find my darts develop bends and curves where there shouldn't be any!  Again congratulations on the hunt

thanks, I am trying to make a comeback on the forum. Life got in the way for a while, but I never really felt like I left since I still had my writings. Sometimes just the act of logging back in and trying your passwords is enough to say "ahh maybe tomorrow"

I have friends that go hog hunting in Texas every year with long bows.For the last few years they've been having to shoot at these pigs at night.They are just plain too spooky for a daytime hunt.This is from a stand and a feeder of course.
