Thanks for the info Chief, I didn't see evidence of blight, but could have missed it. I did find something interesting and it looks very similar to what I have, check this out

Yep! That's the stuff the rancher said was caused by blight. I have a bow roughed out that has some of that but I'm hoping not enough to cause problems. There is no sign of rot and it has been stored inside. Thanks for that verified info.
