New location for me! Now a, Poplar Bluff, MO resident!
« on: March 17, 2017, 09:21:11 am »
Some of you may know, and Ive made a few comments on here.  The wife and I are moving down to Poplar Bluff, Mo. We are currently in the process of packing and moving this weekend, but I wanted everyone to know.  If you have my address from my old place and would like my new address please send me a pm and I will gladly give you my new address.
I hope after this move is over I can get back to some kind of a normal level.  Ive had a lot going on in this past year and have done almost no primitive work at all. Thanks to everyone here for being my PA family.

Oh...I despise packing up and moving!  It wasn't bad when everything I owned fit in a sea bag...as you well know, but a household sucks!  Good luck on your move and hopefully it won't take you long to scout out some good huntin' and fishin' spots.  Josh

Good luck with the move.  Hopefully I can make it down there before long and show you some of the places I used to hunt and fish.

You will be 3 hours and 23 minutes away from Twin Oaks.  I'm hoping to see you at the Classic this year.

Moving is time consuming for sure. The sooner settled the better. On the upside it does'nt hurt to clean out excess every so often.Hope everything goes well.

I spent a week working in poplar bluff. It's really scenic down there. It was the only place in my mid-west travels that reminded me of home(western PA). The mountains in MO are very similar to the Allegheny Mts. I actually looked at some properties for sale in that area and still haven't ruled it out. I may plan my next out of state archery adventure for MO. There was tons of public land and the licenses weren't bad(compared to IL anyway).

Congrats, hope the transition is nice and smooth for you.

Packing up and Moving is the pits; stay safe on your drive.

Scope out Lake Wappapello, once upon a time, the fishing was good.

Hope to see you in July.

I haven't moved in over 26 years and can't imagine trying to get all this crap loaded up. I don't envy you, Patrick.
Moving to a new area can be exciting.
Hope to see you at the Classic.
