Thanks Paul Thanks Penderbender. This one had a quite a few firsts for me. First time steaming in recurves. First time glueing up a handle. And first real truly ambidextrous handle. Also first time I let someone else put their own finishing touches on. I'm very happy with how everything went.

Way to pass it on, BJ!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

Thanks Pearl, I have had some really nice reactions from people I made bows for but this one really does feel good. I can see a lot of my same excitement in his eyes and I really think he is going to enjoy hunting with this one. I think he's way closer to ready than I was a year ago.

The bow looks great, the artwork looks great, but together they make it special.
Seems like common sense isn't very common any more...

Thanks Springbuck, Thanks DuBois, yup he pretty much has a permanent grin whenever he picks up his bow. You should see the smile on his face when he's shooting it.lol
Thanks Dbar, I figured out the steaming pretty good now. I cut a couple slits in my lid so I can keep it right closed with bow stick out slot. Then I cover with aluminum foil to. Here's a picture of lid
