Osage tillered finely
« on: March 03, 2008, 08:35:35 am »
I finely got the Osage tillered yesterday. It turned out 50@27 and pretty good.I was at weight and looked OK. Maybe a little stiff last 1/3 of top limb but I think it will be alright.Don't want to pike it so
thin I will shoot it as is. :)

Pappy I don't think it is off as much as the Picture shows....because the Bow isn't straight in the Tiller Tree....so the Oval doesn't  line up squarely with the Bow.....I think it is a great Job..takes me weeks to get one that close........I don't have room for a Tree...I just use a Tiller Stick ...and take my chances that one don't blow up in my Face!!

Yep Yankee downloading and using the photo programs really help with the tillering process. but you do need to make sure that you get the oval centered and the bow straight in the pic or it can throw you off.
Pappy thats a sweet looking bow and the tiller dose look  really fine. Cant wait to see her finished up.     Keenan
