Pat, if you're not gonna stick a broadhead in it I'd for sure bust his butt with some Blunts.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Pat, we had one about that size poking around here. He's since moved on. Maybe he wandered up your way.

He/she was back 2 days ago, at about 9:30pm. Knocked over the corn container again but nothing was inside. I'll wait a little longer before I start putting out corn again. The funny thing is we haven't had any deer at our trail cams lately. My wife thinks it because of the bears and coyotes, I'm not sure why myself. All we usually get is does, yearlings and fawns anyway.

Just got back from camp...did a little firewood cutting getting ready for some colder weather....these are some of the first pictures I've gotten this year.  I have two weeks worth of pictures and have no bucks during the day.  day time pictures are doe only.  also I see that the next time i'm out there I need to cut the weeds down in front of the camera, it's getting a flash back from the camera at night...... the floor of the woods is really thick this year around my hunting area.  We have had good rain all summer long.  The acorns are everywhere, good mast crop this year.  I've got a couple of small 8 points, a small 10 point and a 9 point that has a forked G2.  This is the most bucks I've seen this early on camera in years..... They usually aren't in the deep woods until later in the season.  I guess it's all the acorns...

The same goes for your deer bowtarist.
I've got good sign around here of scrapes already.

Thanks Ed, I passed on 2 does and 4 fawns from that stand tonight. I'm not against shooting a doe but not now and not there. I want to keep them around that stand for awhile. I had bow all lined up on a doe just had to draw, they were danger close. That's what hunting is all about exciting hunt and didn't even pull the string

Good looking bucks Bill.  I hope they stick around for the guys to get a shot at them.

BJ, hopefully that buck comes back out by your stand on a dry day.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
