Yep...Just got home from work...really like the point and shaft, real nice work.  It will stand out in my collection.....I'll post some pictures soon...

Thanks DBar,  it was fun to make.  But as usual the maker knows what he would do differently next time.
Can't wait for the pics! I wanted to post some the other day but I wanted something to be a surprise for you.

As you can see i just got a really cool arrow from tattoo dave, boo or cane with a interesting point, looks like a thorn? And a great paint job thanks Dave very cool arrow

Thanks guys. Since it's likely a display point you said, I thought I'd make something a little different.

It's bamboo, with mallard duck wing feathers. I always thought those would make some good points for bow fishing. Haven't tried them yet though, never been bow fishing.

My turn! Scottski sent me 2 Awsome Cain arrows with bone points. 1 for small game and 1 for large game. These are going on my wall since there my first trade arrows but I'm sure they would shoot Awsome. Thanks Scott!

Hey Dave,

You didn't reveal what the point was actually made from. I would wager a B Locust or H Locust thorn. I'm leaning toward Honey Locust. I saw something similar in the TBB2. They referred to it as a child arrow or a quickie. I would imagine with the ornately decorated one you made it was hardly quick though. It looks kinda mean. I like it.
I have nothing but scorn for all weird ideas other than my own.
