"Tamed Boar"; 50lbs@28"
« on: April 13, 2016, 06:22:58 am »
Hello,
this is ab bow I actually build last year, I called it "Wild Boar" and it was about 76lbs@28". It was very pretty to look at - but I didnt shoot it (too heavy and the tiller was still improvable in my opinion). So I decided to weaken the bow and start over again with the tillering - now I can shoot it without feeling torn apart in two halfes  :D
The bow weights 456g/16,08oz is 66,9 inch long.

I like it. I have a bow very similar to that in my future builds. I want a simple yew ELB with nothing but wood and overlays. Just like yours. Great job.

Nice bow.  I love the look of the grain in the yew belly.  It's pretty stuff.
