Bighorn Sheep Bow
« on: April 06, 2016, 02:04:15 am »
This is the bow from my build along. Its my first hornbow, but I for sure plan on making a few more.
Its far from perfect, but I learned alot for my next one and I'm more than happy with how it turned out.
I made a sinew string and 4 crow style arrows, 2 dogwood and 2 ocean spray, and i'll admit I'm still figuring out how to shoot this thing!
I'll probably do a buckskin grip eventually, as well as a full set of arrows, but for now, she's done.
30.5" ntn 55-60# @ 16-17"
Cheers guys

Too cool but I love bighorn skulls, I could never cut a horn up even if it does turn out as awesome as yours!
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

I call that close enough to perfect to be perfect. It takes seeing someone else shooting one to realize how little these bows are!
