Ash for my freind

Cut this tree off my buddies property when he needed wood to make wedding center pieces for his daughter, so I got what was left over to make a few bows. I give him at least 2 bows a year and he hunts them well. I figured may as well make one from the ash we cut. 68", low 50's at 29" draw.

Excellent bend and a sharp looking bow too. I can see you toasted the belly, how did you get the grain highlights to pop so nicely on the back?

Thanks guys. Badly Bent, nothing intentional, I think I just left hints of the cambium on and it took the stain like that.

Like everyone else, really admire this one. Straightforward, pretty curve, nice specs. Everything to like about it.
