Spalls for gun flints

I didn't think this was appropriate for the knapping forum.

Anybody make gunflint spalls off a core.

Another thing, different size locks require different sized flints, from small pistol lock flints to big musket lock flints.

Eric, I have watched Ken make these at a couple of knappins, I have started making a few and will bring some to the classic. Still need to practice so I can make real nice ones, I have one in my own gun and have probably shot at least fifty times and still goin strong. Bob

I have but it's been awhile. The Danish Flint I have sparks real good.

 If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
