BB-love the grayish aged stain look. How did you get that?

Duois, it was one of those unintentional finish results. Pigment was mixed with alcohol and rubbed into wood and then when I sprayed on a base coat of shellac it all moved around. I know better but just wasn't focused at the time. Anyway I kinda like the result so I just left it and put several coats of satin spar over it.

No, but being uncertain is my reason for re-doing.  ;)  I already have a new belly piece and tips spliced together.

Cant wait to see how she turns out when you put her thru the ringer.  I understand your reservations in sending it to somebody though.  Good luck on the rebuild!!

Handle wrap completed. I wanted it to have a more primitive look so I hope my guy doesn't mind shooting off his knuckle.
Gonna give it a few more days for the finish to cure, buff out the limbs with pumice, add a coat of wax and ship out.

Mines ready to ship.  Just need to package it up and mail it.  Pacific yew from wizardgoat Ryan.  Takedown sleeves from 3 rivers.  Bison horn tip overlays and Cobra skins.  66" ntn  50#@28".  Had a whoops with an errant drop of super glue on the handle wrap that is really aggravating.  I decided to rewrap the grip and of course not enough black leather to do the job. >:(  Anyway here's a few quick pics before it heads to it's new home.  Josh

Great looking bow Josh.  I couldn't help but notice the arrow pass is on the south paw side.

Pat, I talked to him. He's just real busy after his injury, playing catch up.
