Hehheheh ;D, sounds good Eddie - I'd like to see it! When I get home tommorow I'm gonna finish up this bow, sit down and start knappin. Will be a good stress reliever :D.

great pics mullet. I was there saturday. The ZZ guy behind claud is an old friend of my fathers. It was  a great time and I finally picked up some tools and got some pointers from him.  I will definately be back next year. Hopefully there are other Knap ins before. Well Im going back out to the shop to try and break some more rock.   Noah

We've had plenty of rain this past week, so our Burn Ban has been lifted.  Hopefully I'll be able to cook some rocks this weekend.  I tired working it raw and man that Texas stuff is hard as a rock.  ???   I did get one point working pretty nice (for me the complete novice) and while trying to thin it, SNAP.   :'(

On a similar sad note, the obsidian knife preform that I got from Missouri Trading Company broke in two when my tool box came open when I picket it up and the lid was not secured.   :'( .  Oh well, now I have two arrow point preforms.  8)

Did I mention that I'm having a blast.   ;D

  Otoe, I know the feeling about breaking the big one and not dropping it. I started a BIG blade at Pat's Camporamma and brought it home to finnish. I went out last week and found it in 3 pieces where the lab or cat climbed up on it. To give you an idea how big it was, Hillbilly named it the Paleo Lawnmower blade.

Nice looking points really kind of cool up here you see a lot George town ,flint ,obsidian points its cool to see those corral points with different color, just getting started in that bought me a rock saw
