I see.I know this is bow101's thread here,but about how much reflex could you induce before compromising a belly?Knowing here that hickory is a stronger backing than maple.

If I am building an everyday shooter I like about 2 1/2" glued in and finish with 1 to 1 1/2" reflex. If I plan to use the bow for flight I like to glue in about 4" and finish with about 3".

I see.I personally think they are an awful pretty bow too along with performing well.I did a 64"TTT black cherry with sinew to a starting reflex of 6" once here and it holds 4".Won a bet with an FG shooter with it at a 3D shoot once.Distance shooting it.That was fun.
