hate to say it but my guy will be getting raw materials. some osage orange and definitely some flint or obsidian. hope my recipient flint knaps.

If you have me Kid Bow, that gift would make me very happy. Osage doesn't grow in Minnesota and I have plans to learn to knap. As said earlier, who wouldn't like that?

Well I got the white oak stave to floor tiller. Will try to get it braced before I send it on to my guy and like I said will through in a stave of a sage also.

I'm heading out Monday across the hills to pick up about 300 pc of back strap sinew to process. Some portion of that is part of my plan.

Sounds like a lot of really nice gifts. I'm working on a knife that I hope to finish up in the next week or two. I'll probably throw in some turkey feathers too. Everyone can use some of those, right?
