DANG! that is a freakingly heavy bow. I'm not gonna ask for a full draw profile  >:D
Can you provide specs (width, thickness, ...) too?

I guess only yew (and maybe osage) can tolerate such wood abuse (with those dimensions) without taking excessive set. Maybe that belly toasting leveled the playing field a bit for other wood specs, but this is pretty off the mark.
Do you have anyone to actually shoot it?

Wow!!! That's a lovely piece of timber right there....the fact you've made a bow out of it as well is quite frankly "Yabba-Dabba-Doo" as far as I'm concerned  ;D Just love the clear contrast between the creamy sap and dark heart woods....of course, the fact that its a bit of a monster certainly helps with this too!  :o

beautiful work. I've always been a fan of yew. The Colour of the sapwood and the heartwood make one another look all the more beautiful due to the contrast. And the Elb is such a simple honest curve. I've been trying to make mine from white woods. I've not built any yet to warweight. only 80lbs was the closest.

This bow though as I said is simply beautiful!

I like the arrow pass mark, thats pretty cool.

the part that has too little is increased."

Hi Kamil

Pozdrowienia z Poznania/Greetings from Poznań!

Fantastic looking bow! Quick question if I may: where do you get sufficient quality timber here in PL? My experience with Google and in person in the tartaki (sawmills) has so far not been amazing. I'm looking for good maple, ash, hickory for backs (hardwood for bellies is easier) - and, ultimately, for yew.

Any advice?

Cheers, Alex W
