Becki Parker [James's wife ] sewed my shirt and done a nice job. You might PM James and ask, I feel sure she is still doing stuff like that and is very good at it. :)

I'll look into that Pappy. I may go ahead and do it myself, just not fully confident on the stitching. See what happens.

Scott, get a stapler and staple the edge of the leggings to the shape you want while on your legs Then pull them off and see how they fit. May be too tight in some areas to get on and off. Once you get them how you want, then sew them along the staple edge. Hope that makes sense.

Braintan is soft but you will need a heavy stapler. I used want is called a clipper stapler I think.

Well, I've been thinking the process out somewhat and this is where I'm at now. I went to the goodwill store and picked up an old pair of jeans to use as a pattern. After cutting the legs out and trimming to fit I used this to cut up the braintan.

The fringe is uncut at this point, but the material is there to cut later. I also left the legs a little long so they would come close to the ground.

Now that I'm ready to do the sewing I've decided that there is no way I'm gonna do a decent job at it, so I contacted Mrs Parker and worked out a deal with her to stitch them up for me. I will add the belt loop later and cut in the fringe once the stitching is complete

Not a very good build along, but at least this gives you an idea about the process of laying them out.

Yes, I finished these 2 pieces a couple years ago and just waiting for the right project. Probably gonna need 1 more to make the loin cloth.

I met James Parker at the classic and Ms. Becca had done an outstanding job on the leg seem! So I brought em home an went back to work. First cuttin all the fringe, then cuttin and sewing the loop material to attach the leggins to the belt.

They really do fit like a glove and I couldn't be happier with them.
