Are there any free online reference guides? I am pretty sure I'm getting a hard copy for Christmas but wouldn't mind looking things up right now.

lithic casting lab.
Google it.
They sell cast of some of the best points ever found and if you buy a cast you can hold it, study it and try to replicate it.

Google Mike Lynn flint knapping book. Mike is a great guy he put this info together you can download it for free or he may be able to get you a hard copy. He only charges actual cost to print it. Good luck
