Eddie's 1st.

As much stuff as Eddie has killed with his bow, the Whitetail deer has always eluded him until last week at TwinOaks, he made a great shot on a 104 lb doe at about 12 yards, she ran 80 yards. He shot it with a James Parker bow, very well done Eddie. Congrats.

Congrats Eddie.  Nice doe.  Wish I didn't have to leave so early from down there.  Which stand were you in?  I'm glad you got one.

Way to go Mr Parker!

Thanks, guys, I was sure glad to get that monkey off my back. When Pappy invited me to hunt Twin Oaks a few years ago I new that would give me the most and best opportunity to finally get one. Thanks, Pappy.

Dave, I was in the Honey Hole. I had just had one drop to it's stomach at six yards ten minutes before this one.

A hearty congratulations to you, mullet!  Looks like a lotta plates of good healthy eating right there.

Who knows, maybe some day if you work hard enough and get a little lucky, you can get one with a bow you made!   >:D

Thanks, Matt and JW.

I had my Osage with me, John but the arrows were not flying good enough for me after I put a FF string on. Next time, though. ;D

Not surprised you would set aside your own bow in that situation, Eddie.  The ethical clean shot means more than who's handiwork you are carrying.

Now let's see about breaking that streak of bad luck on Merriam's turkeys!!!   >:D
