I am off to Briarfield for the Russ Dixon shoot this weekend to put the bow through it's paces. The handle leather goes on tomorrow, as I shoot it in I am having to lighten the top limb slightly little by little. I will post more pictures after the shoot this weekend.

Good luck at the shoot!  I was going to go and bring the kids, but forgot about some family issues to attend.  I'm sure that bow will handle the task nicely.

Good result & great bend!

The stats; 64" ntn, 54#@25", bottom limb one inch shorter than the top limb,1 1/4" wide, round belly limbs tapering at mid limb to about 3/8" tips, 2 1/2" fades. Gizmo tillered for the most part except for stiff limb tips and plenty of work getting the fades to bend.

Boy that turned out great Eric.  Congrats on third place.  Are you going to take some more pics of the finish and whatnot?  I'd like to see some ;)

Very nice indeed.  That right there is as good an advert for gizmo tillering as you are like to find.

The bow is osage, tips at layered osage/walnut/osage.

The finish is 5 coats of tru-oil followed by a couple of coats of satin spar urethane.
