Yes Hamish, I have been busy....... I tend to work in spurts. I hope to shoot it this weekend, we have a trad get together on Saturday and they have asked me to bring a few bows I have been making. Four bows in one week is a bit silly tho.......lol

If you are used to the weight, you could get that right elbow down 4" inches (and back a tad) for another inch of draw (4 to one leverage) >:D
How do you expect to get a nice bruise on your left pec if you don't get right into it? >:D >:D >:D ::)
I reserve the right to be talking complete bow locks here, but sort of imagine you are trying to tuck your right thumb under your armpit.
Sorry if it's unwanted critique :-[

I think Del is right... I've a feeling (I'm far from experienced here, mind) that it's a common thing to imagine you're drawing a normal bow, and just pull further when actually you should change the way you're drawing completely for a heavy bow.

Also.... If you swap the weight bias, and lean into the bow, weight on the front leg, you start to get more pushing power, rather than relying on the pulling strength only.  I can imagine with some forward lean, and some focus on changing where your drawing hand ends up, you'll be inside those bows with ease.

Gorgeous bows though, really clean looking!

If I'd have had photoshop instead of just 'MS Paint', I'd have got the elbow down in-line or below the hand. I'd have made the smile better... maybe have added some blonde highlights to the hair and a Koala too ::)
Hey, there's the little fellah now!

Haha! Turning into a work of art.  You need to sort out that bow now, it's at COMPLETELY the wrong angle.

I think you should start again from scratch.

Yeah, grey skies today, probably rain >:(.
Hoping to hand over my latest bow and see it being shot for a round of 3Ds in the woods. I'll take my camera.
