A little thick. Used a 1/2 copper bopper, an antler tine pressure flaker, and a hammer stone. Mahogany obsidian. Broke the one ear off. I didn't want to stop but it's time to go to the races. I need practice. But I guess I am happy for the first one.

Save the first one, always fun to look back and compare....you have an eye for the shape, keep after it.

Good start. Looking back, my advice is to start thinning the spalls early and the final point will be flatter and more uniform in thickness with it being wider overall. Gotta make a lot of little rocks from big rocks to get good

I am surprised of the ease that this stone is working. My biggest issue is holding the point as I pressure flake. Not a whole lot of area to grab. I'll post another pic with i next to a quarter. I was also getting some good results percussion flaking to reduce thickness.
