Thank you Pat and JW,
I wouldn't wish misfortune on anyone here but it does help to hear that even with many bows under your belt you can still wreck some and get in a slump.
I was starting to wonder if I would ever get a decent bow for the trade. It is one thing to take a stick and  see what you get, but this is the first try at building to someone else's specs and that aint easy.
Now after about 5 or 6 tries, I have a bow I feel good about shipping, except for that it looks like a dyslexic 3rd grader did the signing and I came out a couple pounds over wt.

Ye Olde Bowe Trayde. It gives you a chance to rise to the occasion and show your stuff, or else it exposes your weaknesses.  Maybe both.

Consider me exposed but on the rise  ;)

The elm bow I was working came in way to lite after final sanding and shooting in. Good thing  I have a few in the works always. Got a character osage just applied carp skins to yesterday got to go shape  tip overlays and final sand and oil. Will get some pics up over the next day or so. Finish line in sight.

For bushboy, that option would be prohibitively expensive!  You see, the drive down from the northern bush region of Canada to the nearest US Post Office is a complicating factor!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

Hell if the US owned Canada I'd probably move there. >:D

Well I should be shipping within the week; just need to put several more arrows through it for my own pleasure, I hope what's - his - face likes it.
