Good day hike 5 added
« on: April 13, 2014, 11:28:03 pm »
Went out Saturday with my dog Sly hoping to find a shed. Quantity not my best day ever but quality best for sure. Found three six point sheds hard brown one small one and the other two may be a set. Hope you enjoy Hugh.

I was HECHO EN MEXICO, but assembled in Texas and I'm Texican as the day is long...  Psalm 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Thanks Criveraville, Chamookman and Pappy. Nice hall for sure.

Bowtarist as for Sly he is a good buddy. 8) I had hoped I could train him to help with shed hunting but he has no interest in anything that is not on the hoof. Until I get it home and start working on it then he'll steal it and chew it up for me. :o I guess one should be careful of the name they give their dog because Sly fits him well. >:D

YosemiteBen our Deer population is no better here. ??? I spent all day today cutting canyons and rounding ridges about 5 miles on map. Add terrain 1000' overall elevation drop and half circles around ridges and I have no clue what that distance became. Deer track the whole way and not one deer shed or Elk. :'( Oh well a lot of exercise, a lot cheaper than a gym membership and fresh air the hole way money well spent on personal training. ;D
