Using Osage "without" overlays what is the narrowest some of you folks have gone? I know it is strong stuff...Would love to see pics of your narrowest....Page 147 in TBB1 shows a few but no size comparison. They look to be 1/2" maybe 3/8" ?

1/4" is about as narrow as I've gone for a 50ish pounder. Blackhawk is synonymous for his skinny tips. Do a search for some of his bows.

I handled a hunting weight bow that Keenan made. It was yew with self nocks and I needed a microscope to see those damn things. That should give you some comfort with your osage.
