I get mine at tandy's leather, locally. But I'd like to look into importing some raw tooling leather. I know you would have to buy in bulk, but it would be worth it down the road.

They got it down the road from me. I can take pics if need be. PM me if/when you feel like it. dp

 Scalp a couch!  Usually only the top of the cusions, top of the arms and front of the back cushions are leather. Same with chairs. Still plenty on them though. Pow wows if you want nice stuff.There's usually  vendors there.  My amish friends up North have proudly told me they were quite lazy , and didn't like to do more work than they had to.(good sense of humour, and with the amount of work they do  I wouldn't want to do any more myself ;)) They would likely be buying their leather as well.
