A half a pair of scissors will make a decent scraper in a pinch until you get a cabinet scraper. You have received excellent advice so far heed it well and go slow, take lots of in process pictures and post them you will get where you want to go just be patient with the journey. Think of it as more of a marathon than a sprint.
