here is a full draw.

the two bows unbraced are pics i found online and used for reference they are finno ugric replica bows, my tips were originally shaped more like that but i shaved them down to reduce weight on the tips and heat bent them instead of gluing on siyahs. the bow is supposed to be wrapped in birchbark but i added my own style ....so, it is more of a finnic inspired bow than a replica....the skins are definately americana 8)

sa, that's a really nice bow! I like the curves on it. Anytime  ;) Those skins and yellow wood make a great combo. Love that full draw. What current country or countries would this style have come from?

cipriano, from what I've read they are from countries like finland ,Scandinavia,Russia, Siberia, Hungary(Hungarians are finnic and use similar style bows but the siyahs change some)  basically they are north Eurasian and were used by tribes like the saami which resemble native americans ,they even share similar DNA.

Very nice but I don't think those nocks would survive the misfortune of a dry fire

...nor a FF string I reckon.

But the bow is real nice anyway.

Actually those finno-ugrian bows are composits (birch back, preasure-pine belly).

Very cool bow.  Thanks for sharing!

Great looking bow, you didn't say what kind of wood the bow is made from. The nocks scare me as well but some types of wood do tolerate this better than others.
