Weekend at Cade's farm
«

Chris Cade invited Steve Parker(Hillbilly) and myself down to his farm near Willington, SC. This was a meat hunt, gun hunt. When I arrived about noon on Saturday Steve was cleaning the nub buck he shot that morning. Saturday evening Chris drove us to our stands on the fourwheeler. Just before sundown the first shot was fired by Chris. About 10 minutes later another shot, Steve and 10 minutes later I shot. Here is the results...
Happy hunters...

Thanks Cipriano. This is the first deer I have killed in a few years so the meat is welcomed and this is my first hunt this year. We had a great few days together and the weather was about perfect.

Good deal! Nothing like deer meat. Did you take your old savage lever?

Looks like a very enjoyable and bountiful weekend! I'm not use to seeing you three without a bow in your hands
still a great pic for the album!

Sounds like a fun time Pat, fast, but fun.
I like the 'Happy Hunters" pic, it's pretty cool.

David, it is a Savage Model 99E in .308.
I'd rather done it with a bow but I also prefer having meat in the freezer.
