Spent my weekend down in West by God with a pack on my pack wandering aimlessly without a care in the world thru some of the most beautiful wilderness east of the rocky mountains...I took lots of pics, but even tho a picture says a thousand words theres still a million more to say in person...even tho any of my pics or words don't do this weekend any justice ill try to let them speak for themselves...and ill add diologue in between some sets of pics....nuff said....
this was a few hundred yards from fri eve camp site....its called the lionshead
see any bows in this mountain laurel bush...lol
this was Saturdays lunch break spot called the forks...left and right fork of red creek converge here
upper red creek trail view...the distant hillside was just as inflamed with crimson as the maple on the left
raven ridge views
rocky ridge views part one
rocky ridge views part two
got camp set sat and it was time for some fun
I took my yew takedown tradebow gaur had made me
a glorious morning sunday church service on Harman knob
headin down
rhododendron tunnels
crossing big stonecaol creek
top of big stonecoal falls
bottom of falls which are 40-50 feet high
and a fairwell of me at the falls...
thanks for looking..and sorry for all the pics...hope its not so many that some people cant view em all

"...and sorry for all the pics..." Betcha dollars to donuts half the people that open this thread read less than 20% of what you typed but look at every pic at least twice!
Looks like you had a good time and your heart is vibrating like a plucked string. Good for you, really good.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. After seeing them, I feel like I just took a mini-vacation as I'm sitting here waiting at the BMV.
