A little lipstick
« on: September 30, 2013, 08:00:04 pm »
I hadn't been on here in a while and got behind posting a little. Here is a couple bows I've worked on recently. The one on the right is "Knot Enuff" with two courses of sinew, black snake skin backing and an arrow pass added. Yes Blackhawk, it is the same bow I worked on at Dave's and at the Classic. The one on the left is another Osage bow I made since the Classic. To date it remains unnamed. I added the jute string wrap and the arrow pass last nite. It is 55@26" and 64" long with flipped tips and antler overlays. It will be my hunting bow this season. Both bows have multiple coats of Tru Oil. Sorry, no glamour shots.  I need a decent camera! My iPhone isn't cutting it.
