Osage Takedown Bow

A few weeks ago I asked for a pair of Season Osage billets and PatB came to the rescue! After a little steaming and straightening, this is what I came up with. 66" 65# @ 29" Backed with CaneBreak Rattlers, Takedown sleeved, Tips of Ipe over Osage. I also made a nice leather bag to hold the bow when taken apart. Thanks for the trade Pat!

Thats a really nice bow! Braced, unstrung, shape, skins, finish and tiller all look flawless and the bag is equally as nice.
Well done Twisted.

Could you show us some pics of the bow apart. I'd love to see your T/D fit. Thanks!

Awesome bow ,,but oddest looking canebrake skin ive seen,,but im from Texas, ours are more black chevrons with a brown stripe down the center,,when you say canebrake do you also mean timberrattler, just curious, great bow all around though?.

I always enjoy looking at the bows that you post! Great finishing work, and your leather working is awesome. I have never done a takedown bow. I would like to see a picture of it taken down. Canebreak skin really sets it off.
