Jut got my knife in today and man, its nice. I will be taking it hunting with me. I took it to work today to show off to the fellas. They were also impressed. I like the way it fits my hand and am lookin forward to stickin it into some unlucky critter. I also like your stitchwork on the sheath. I will probably do it on my next sheath, if i can figure out how you did it. Thanks Duck man, it will be a life time companion.

I hope to get more work done on my trade knife soon.

I'm glad you like it :) I was kind of worried if you would like the handle or not, it's jute lightly soaked with CA glue.

I did the stitching with one of those awl's with the spool in the handle and just followed the instructions  ;)

If you have any problems with it let me know and I can make another  ;D

well finially got my trade blade about done all she needs is a few more coats of tru-oil and a sheath, it's about 7 1/2 long, full grind, blacksmith's finish, aged elm burl handles and brass pins.

After talking with Mr. Frosty, I decided to go with a pretty little Damascus drop point skinner.
Got the blade in trade five or six years back.
Trying for a complex scale layout, Desert Ironwood and German Silver, with German Silver pins.
With Turquoise accents.

Just about have everything cut out and mated.
Hoping to get her finished by Sunday.

Mine is moving along but am humbled by the quality you guys are putting out.  It'll be a good knife and I do better with my leatherwork.
Keep you all posted.

When is the trade date?
