i would do as others have said and cut the 2 straightest lengths from both limbs and splice or make a takedown down. it would be better to get one good bow than 2 mediocre bows imo.

Ok so saying I do cut the straight part from each stave and glue the billets together. Can anyone suggest a suitable epoxy to use - one that can be sourced in the UK? I know you guys in the US use Urac 185 or Resorcinol. Would something produced by West Systems be suitable?

UniBond 800 is about the same thing as URAC 185, (
perhaps a bit better actually
), and it is available from the Nelson Paint company website. ...and it appears they
DO
ship to the UK.
