sneak peak at character russian olive

Thought I would give you a peak at the newest russian olive bow ive made.
more pics to follow
Specs: 45lbs@28" 68" ttt, flat bow, left one ring of sapwood on. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. This bow wasnt too hard to make. Its the first russian olive that I left the sapwood on the back. Sure wished I did it before! Looks beautiful that way! Anyway has about 1 1/2" set and shoots a 500 in the high 150's. Even if it didnt I wouldnt care. Its one stunning bow to hold!

That's a lovely bow with nice character. Russian olive? Never heard about it. It looks like laburnum. :-)
